(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti National Security Apparatus (NSA) Chairman Sheikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah met Monday with visiting US Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Defeat the so called Islamic State (IS) Brett McGurk.
They addressed bilateral cooperation between Kuwait and the US in the field of fighting terrorism and the latest regional developments, the NSA said in a press release.
Also discussed during the meeting were efforts exerted to maintain regional peace and stability, along with cooperative ties between both friendly countries, it added. (end) ays.msa.mt
