3 Illinois men’s basketball players enter transfer portal

CHAMPAIGN Ill (KWQC) -Over the last two days, three Illinois men’s basketball players have entered the transfer portal.
Carey Booth, Morez Johnson Jr, and Tre White are the three Fighting Illini players in the portal.
Booth was the first to enter the portal. The sophomore appeared in 21 games this season.
Freshman Johnson Jr entered after Booth. The 6-foot-9 big man played in 30 games this season averaging 7 points and 6.7 rebounds a game, and was big on the offensive glass.
White becomes the third Fighting Illini to enter the portal. White appeared in 32 games averaging 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds a game. The 6-foot-7 junior will be headed to his fourth team in four seasons.
