Oklahoma State men's tennis traveled to Tucson, Arizona, for its third conference matchup. The Cowboys dropped the match to the Wildcats on Friday, 4-0.

With the loss, OSU fell to 7-10 on the season and 1-2 in conference play. The Cowboys were held scoreless for the fourth time this season.

OSU's Ian Bracks and Thomas Gadecki took the lone win against Arizona’s Inaki Cabrera-Bello and Glib Sekachov. OSU trailed 1-5 on Court 1 and was able to score another point, but ultimately dropped the match 2-6. Their lone win came on Court 2, then their final loss on Court 3, 6-7, giving the Wildcats the first point.

The Cowboys did not have much luck in their singles. They went 0-3 with 3 matches being unfinished in the 3rd set. On Court 1, OSU Junior Isaac Becroft was unable to fight off Arizona’s Jay Friend. Becroft dropped the first set 3-6 and was in a close fight in the second set, but eventually was defeated, 5-7, giving the Wildcats a 2-0 lead.

Court 2 had the same fate with Cowboy Sophomore Derek Pham losing to Arizona’s Zoran Ludoski in two sets, (3-6, 1-6), making the match 3-0 in the Wildcat’s favor. OSU Junior Alessio Basile’s match remained unfinished.

On Court 4, OSU freshman Nicolas Kobelt lost his first set 2-6 and fought hard in the 2nd set, almost making a comeback, but was defeated 4-6, which gave Arizona the win 4-0.

Matches 5 and 6 on courts 1 and 2 were left unfinished in the 3rd sets.
